Day Twenty Six

Good evening, my dear Sky-Fans! How are you? I'm quite tired, tonight, for a change, so I think I'll let the pictures speak. You're in for a treat, believe me! They're beautiful!

Chiara - Berlin, Germany - 8.17 am

It's a painting, by IRENE - who sent also a link to the song "Quello che non" by the Italian song-writer and singer Francesco Guccini, and a couple of verses, which I'm definitely not up to translating right now - maybe tomorrow:

La vedi nel cielo quell'alta pressione, la senti una strana stagione?
Ma a notte la nebbia ti dice d'un fiato che il dio dell'inverno è arrivato.
[...]
Si fa a strisce il cielo e quell'alta pressione è un film di seconda visione,
è l'urlo di sempre che dice pian piano: non siamo, non siamo, non siamo...
[Francesco Guccini]

Irene - Viareggio, Lucca, Italy - 12.14 pm

Day Twenty Five

It was a chilly morning after the night's rain,
and the sun hung in the sky like a pale coin
lost by someone high up in the clouds.
[Cornelia Funke]

EMANUELA

Emanuela - Cervia, Ravenna, Italy - 8.12 am
The sky was blue over CELENIA, who proudly sent in a couple of pictures.

Celenia - Empoli, Florence, Italy - 10.49 am

I left home early after lunch. The sky was grey but not rainy.

Chiara - Berlin, Germany - 1.29 pm
AMALIA's sky was stunning today.

Amalia - Frassinara di Parma, Parma, Italy - 3.37 pm
In the afternoon, the sky over CELENIA had a change of heart and decided to turn grey and rainy.

Celenia - Fontanella, Empoli, Florence, Italy - 3.40 pm

As I set off to go back home, the sky was turning dark.

Chiara - Berlin, Germany - 3.56 pm
And just look at the sky over Colorno, that AMALIA photographed for us! It looks magical to me.
On the wall of the elementary school in the second picture, somebody wrote a quote by the famous Italian author of children's book Gianni Rodari. It says: My thoughts and yours ar holding hands: two think better than one, and we can go farther!

Amalia - Colorno, Parma, Italy - 3.57 pm

SERENA took a picture of the sky, unconcerned with the cold and damp outside.

Serena - Vinci, Florence, Italy - 4.15 pm
And ENRICA shares with us a spectacular sunset. Thank you, Enrica!

Enrica - Asiago, Vicenza, Italy - 4.34 pm

EMANUELA took a picture of the sky right after sunset.

Emanuela - Cervia, Ravenna, Italy - 5.12 pm
And, last but not least, MARISA looked up at the end of a very long day, and saw two lights breaking through the darkness.

Marisa - Roverbella, Mantua, Italy - 7.39 pm

I hope you all had a very interesting and happy day. Remember to look at the sky, and be back tomorrow!
